Finn was found abandoned in Washington, D.C. wandering around Rock Creek park all alone, but we fell for his big seal eyes at first sight and hope you do too. He approaches all humans with wiggles and tail wags! He's currently loving his human foster brother and sister, so would do well in a home with kids. He loves to romp though so grade-school age or older would be best!
Finn has done well on a leash, and loves pets (but won't bug you for them!). He's very food motivated and is ready for some additional training as long as treats are involved. He's a sweet snuggle bug who loves people even though he's had it rough.
When he first arrived Finn loved other pups, but this poor guy had a bad experience with another dog (not his fault, he promises and we can confirm) that's left him a little skeptical of other dogs. He's well on the road to recovery though and with slow, monitored introductions we're confident he'll be back to the lovebug he is with other dogs in no time.
*Breed is an estimate / approximation and cannot be guaranteed. As with all rescue pups, we don't have a full genetic history to allow us to identify breeds with 100% accuracy. We of course encourage you to do more research once you adopt a pup (and are happy to share DNA testing options) and share the results!
